2014 Miss America Pageant Contestants: Part 2

The 2014 Miss America Pageant is quickly approaching, and young women from each state are preparing to compete in this historic pageant. Join PageantDesigns.com, as we introduce you to the wonderful ladies who will be competing in this year’s Miss America Pageant.
Miss Colorado: On June 29, 2013, Meg Kardos was crowned Miss Colorado. Kardos is a 23 year old student at the University of Denver, where she hopes to attain a law degree and a Master’s degree in Journalism. Kardos’ platform is Children’s Cause for Cancer Advocacy and her talent a vocal performance.
Miss Connecticut: Kaitlyn Tarpey, from Stamford, Connecticut is a 21 year old student at Honors College at Pace University. Tarpey has been a competitive Irish Step Dancer since she was young, and her talent is a traditional Irish Step Dance. Her platform issue is Our Time to Serve: Hiring and Housing Our Veterans. Tarpey is also involved with several veteran programs, including the Purple Heart Foundation and the National Veterans Services Fund.
Miss Delaware: 21 year old, Rebecca Lee Jackson is a student at the University of Delaware. Jackson’s platform issue is Fostering Music, and she has ambitions of performing as a singer across the world.
Miss District of Columbia: Bindhu Pamarthi will represent the District of Columbia at the 2014 Miss America Pageant. Pamarthi is a 23 year old, second year law student at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her talent is a traditional Bollywood dance.
