Don't Forget to Relax Before Prom!

Prom season can be a stressful one, especially if you find yourself coming down to the wire to find a dress, make a hair appointment, or submit your Homecoming Queen platform on time. Let's face it - it's crazy busy! But, amid all of the hustle and bustle, you should also be thinking about making some time to rid yourself of prom time stress. Frazzled nerves aren't a great accessory to have on prom night.
Here are some of our favorite ways to unwind before the real prom preparation begins:
- Read a good book. Pick something that YOU want to read for fun. Skip the school books and go for a best seller instead.
- Have a movie marathon. Invite over your best girlfriends and enjoy popcorn with some of your favorite prom flicks!
- Get a mani pedi. This is perfect for doing a few days before the prom - go for a gel manicure and pedicure for a no-chip finish.
- Get a massage or a facial. Hey - if you're scheduled for a mani-pedi, why not make a spa day of it? :)
- Work out. Sometimes it's a great thing to just sweat out all of the anxiety!
- Take a yoga class. Not only will this help you keep trim and toned, but it's also a great stress reliever!
