Fit & Construction
The sheer corset bodice features intricate lace appliqués, beading, sequins and stone accents that create texture and shimmer throughout the gown. A pointed basque waist draws the eye inward and visually lengthens the torso, while the fit-and-flare silhouette follows the hips before opening into a softly flared skirt. The thigh-high slit adds movement and a modern edge to the embellished design. An open lace-up back allows adjustment through the closure for a more personalized fit.
The Dimitra Designs Experience
The fit through the waist and hips is especially important in an embellished fit-and-flare gown. We welcome prom shoppers from Gaffney every season. At Dimitra Designs in Greenville, SC, our master seamstresses with 40+ years of alterations expertise evaluate each gown's construction before recommending adjustments. Alterations are separate and optional, and what can be changed depends on the individual dress.
Online you see each designer’s prom collection. Our Greenville, SC store has 1,000+ prom and pageant dresses to try on, most in one size and one color, and the selection changes as dresses sell. Ask a Dimitra Designs stylist or call 864-467-0801 before your visit.
