Our Top 5 Favorite Prom Scenes

Ahhh...the movies. Sometimes don't you just wish that life could be more like one? well, when prom season rolls around, we tend to break out the popcorn and pop in some of our favorite prom-themed flicks in between getting ready for the big night. Prom scenes can range from super romantic to totally hilarious - it all depends on the film. So, if you're looking for some great prom scenes to draw your prom night inspiration from, check out our top 5 list of favorite prom scenes (in no particular order):

Twilight (2008): Two words: Robert Pattinson. He's absolutely gorgeous and he adores Kristen Stewart's character Bella in this sci-fi love story. The gazebo scene is one of our favorites. Plus, how cute is it that he has Bella dance on his feet?

10 Things I Hate About You (1999): Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger make this 90's film a must-see during prom season. Headstrong Kat (Stiles) and bad boy Patrick (Ledger) are a great couple with awesome chemistry, especially on prom night...though there are games afoot in this Shakespeare-inspired film.

High School Musical 3 (2008): OK, this film is just so much fun. Prom night is flashy and very, um, musical at East High and we know you'll want to get up and dance and sing along as you watch your favorite characters share a night to remember.

Pretty in Pink (1986): Molly Ringwald plays Andie, a girl from the wrong side of the tracks in this 80's film classic where she begins her prom night alone. But love prevails and her beau Blane confesses his love and then leaves the prom, only to have Andie chase after him. The parking lot scene? *SWOON*

Footloose (1984): Starring Kevin Bacon, this film is all about dancing. On prom night, city boy Ren rebels and organizes a night to remember, all while teaching his classmates how to dance. Everyone cuts, um, footloose in this great prom film that features some pretty hilarious 80's dance moves :)
